We need TS2 and TS3 CC contributions for an exciting new upcoming event at GoS! It is going to be EXCITING :D
We are looking for contributions that are appropriate for GoS (in terms of style, quality standard and adheres to our upload rules). These contributions can be anything from a small set to a larger set. Your contribution will be shared with the entire forum as a kind of prize. This event will be for TS2 and TS3 and will run at the forum on June 17th.
Please send your RAR/ZIP (which includes pictures and an info.txt, or something similar to provide credits and information for downloaders) to me (Nymphy) at GoS or to the GoStumblr before the 17th. Details on this event will be revealed when it starts, as we are going to keep it largely secret because it will be a nice surprise >D But I can tell you that you will like it! :D :D

I was hoping it wasn’t, I wonder what it is about women that gets so many people’s backs up? I am always wary of the way female characters get treated in fandom that I have become sensitive to it (the Supernatural fandom was pretty bad at one point).
I plan to reserve judgement until I’ve seen it, remember all the naysayers from when Sherlock was announced (‘its going to be shit compared to the RDJ one!!’ was what I heard a lot) but why are so many people complaining about Lucy Liu? She is an excellent actress and I can’t wait to see the dynamics of their relationship.

maybe i will mess around with making some. the texture i use is a slightly edited pooklet (made it less shiny). i looked at nymphy’s and they look too shiny for my tastes. also sometimes i type saviour, even though i’m american. it’s so strange!
I think Nymphy’s are based on Nouk’s ones. The shine is gorgeous in TS2 but I can see how it would be too much in TS3. Heh, my cousin and I joke about America’s ‘hatred’ of the letter ‘u’ (she is usually all because we don’t need it! *dramatic pose*), she is moving to Canada so she is going to have to come around to it :D

it’s easier to make straight textures. sometimes i add a wave to hair when a retexture them… i was actually just thinking of making some hairs with wavy textures, but i didn’t know if there was a demand for it. you and i count as a demand, right?
Yes, we do! I figured it was probably more difficult than straight hair, I think a lot of people would be interested in those textures as well :D
I am so sad that I don’t have many curly textured hairs in my TS3 game (the ones I do have are more open waved than curly). Are they difficult to make? Do people not like curly hair in the sims community as well? I am curious because a lot of the newer retextures of hair meshes often come with straight and curly options (>_<)
